Alessandra Bajec is an independent journalist who has been working across the Middle East and North Africa for more than ten years. She has experience reporting from Tunisia, Egypt, the Palestinian Territories, Lebanon, Iraq and beyond.
She covers the MENA region focusing on politics, armed conflict, human rights, gender and migration.
Her work has appeared in a number of international media outlets including The New Arab, Al Jazeera English, TRT World and The New Humanitarian among others.
She holds a master’s degree in Conflict Resolution and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She speaks English, French, Italian, Spanish, and fair Arabic.
